Nathalie, a self taught artist, was born in Montreal, Quebec and grew up surrounded by art. She is now an established artist, living in Whitehorse, Yukon and works in both acrylics and oils. She is known for her sensitive representation of her environment.
In addition to earning a bachelor of sciences in biology at the University of Western Ontario,Natalie has traveled widely and spent much time in the North of Canada. The years in the North have had strong affects on her art.
Nathalie takes a significant amount of time on her paintings which seem to take on a life of their own. After viewing a painting people often remark on being drawn into a different world. Her work has a universal appeal to both men and women resulting in it being collected widely across North America.
